Since 1996 we have taught more than 4000 students how to “Do Hypnosis” and then apply it effectively and correctly for therapeutic purposes. The practical aspects of inducing hypnosis are often not included in the curriculum of many “Hypnosis Training Institutions”. Students can pay many thousands of dollars to read books and attend lectures of academic postulation and then practice a progressive muscle relaxation technique for a day or two before they are given a Hypnosis Training  document that decrees them as a Master Hypnotist or a Master Practitioner. It’s a sad reality that many who undertake hypnosis training may actually have no real idea of how to induce genuine hypnosis let alone how to use it.Upon registration for any training all students are immediately given access to the academies curriculum and to the on line student training and resource centre. Under our training conditions this means that you have begun your training from the date of registration and payment. Acknowledged as one of the world’s most skilled professional hypnotists and hypnosis trainers, Rick is the principle of The Australian Academy of Hypnosis and has trained more than 2200 therapists in the correct and effective use of his unique therapeutic hypnosis styles. In 2006 his Lose Weight Now CD became the only hypnosis mesmerism training  CD ever in the world to win a Gold Aria Award and in August 2008 it went world.In conjunction with a Pharmacist colleague, Mr. Nathan Elliott, Rick conducted Australia’s first monitored clinical study to evaluate improvements in the quality of life, using hypnosis as an adjunct to conventional medical treatments. The participants of the trial were nine, medical doctor referred and monitored, volunteers suffering various types of cancers at various stages of progression. Both the Clinical and the experiential results were very positive and ethics approval is being sought to conduct a much larger study (all study participants were signed into the trail and monitored independently by their Medical Doctors).
